NOTE:  Boxy Pixel has just recently released a new version of their metal shell that accepts 2 PSP-1000 analog sticks.  Each analog stick will need 2 ADCs.  While this will still work with the new Boxy Pixel shell, this product only gives you 2 ADCs and can only help you add 1 analog stick.  If you want dual analog (4-ADCs), please see our new “slim” version that has 4 ADCs on it to support 2 analog sticks.

This add-on board adds 2 new buttons and the ability to connect an analog joystick and a fan. The fan can be purchased with this add-on board, but the analog stick is up to you to purchase elsewhere

This allows you to add L2/R2 “trigger/shoulder” buttons to your Freeplay CM3 in a plastic shell or in the metal Boxy Pixel shell “inside” of the normal L/R shoulder buttons.

This kit will require adding parts to your existing Freeplay CM3 which will involve soldering and modifications to the plastic shoulder buttons. It will also require you to install and edit software on your Freeplay CM3. It is intended for builders that have experience soldering and are okay with logging into Linux and making changes there.

This will come with button caps (as shown). A couple typical usage examples are also shown. The low profile example was made by cutting the button caps about in half before pressing them onto the button shaft.
