Freeplay CM3 L2R2 Slim Dual Analog (4 ADC) Add-On Board (works with Boxy Pixel)

$17.99$30.99

This add-on board adds 2 new buttons and the ability to connect two analog joysticks and a fan. The fan can be purchased with this add-on board, but the analog sticks is up to you to purchase elsewhere

If you are using the new Boxy Pixel shell that supports 2 PSP-1000 analog sticks, this is the board to use IF you want your L2/R2 to be placed inside of your original L/R shoulder buttons.  If you want your additional buttons to be placed on the back of your console, or if you want to mount your fan on the PCB, please see our other Freeplay CM3 4ADC add-on board.

This allows you to add L2/R2 “trigger/shoulder” buttons to your Freeplay CM3 in a plastic shell or in the metal Boxy Pixel shell “inside” of the normal L/R shoulder buttons.

This kit will require adding parts to your existing Freeplay CM3 which will involve soldering and modifications to the plastic shoulder buttons. It will also require you to install and edit software on your Freeplay CM3. It is intended for builders that have experience soldering and are okay with logging into Linux and making changes there.

This will come with button caps (as shown). A couple typical usage examples are also shown. The low profile example was made by cutting the button caps about in half before pressing them onto the button shaft.

SKU: FP_L2R2_SLIM_4ADC_ADDON Category:

This product is for advanced users that are comfortable soldering and tinkering with the Linux code/scripts. Please ask us if you have any questions about this.

This board will help you add dual analog sticks to your Freeplay CM3.

In particular, it is good for adding two PSP-1000 sticks to the new (June 2020) Boxy Pixel shell that supports PSP sticks.

This is a new product, so new documentation has yet to be created.
